UNIC – Italian Tanneries presents Hides Eco Track at the conference on the EU Deforestation Regulation

From the stage of the conference on the EU Deforestation Regulation (held on September 24 during Lineapelle), participants welcomed the postponement of the EUDR’s implementation.

Originally scheduled to take effect on December 30, 2024, and later postponed to December 30, 2025, its entry into force is now expected to be delayed until 2026.

For UNIC – Italian Tanneries, however, the conference primarily served as an opportunity to present Hides Eco Track — a digital platform developed in collaboration with Conlegno and Terrasystem S.r.l., designed to manage EUDR-related due diligence.
