The synergistic agreement between UNIC and the Mongolian Association of Leather Industry

For cooperation between companies and for the creation of added value through innovation and environmental sustainability. With these goals in mind, on 1 December, Fabrizio Nuti, President of UNIC – Italian Tanneries, signed a memorandum of understanding with Davaasuren Ariunbold, President of MALI – Mongolian Association of Leather Industry, at the headquarters of Po.Te.Co. (Tanning Technology Centre).
The agreement between UNIC and MALI will last two years (with the possibility of renewal) and covers areas ranging from training to R&D (research and development). Its aim is to support the growth of tanning workers, specialists and technicians by introducing internationally recognised certification standards and verification mechanisms. The programme also includes participation in trade fairs and workshops organised in both countries.
“We view with great interest the tools of international cooperation between companies, which are essential for tackling the challenges of an increasingly complex global market,” commented Nuti. “This protocol is part of the partnerships that enable companies to access new knowledge, technologies and markets, thereby promoting innovation and sustainable growth. Cooperative and exchange pathways also make it possible to share risks and resources, offering greater flexibility in responding to the changes of a rapidly evolving market.”
